The Moon Hare or Moon Rabbit is a mythical figure in Asian and Native American folklore. Moon gazing hare symbols can be found from Ancient times. The Celts and Pagans associate them with rebirth, fertility, new beginnings and growth. Luna is the Latin word for moon and is the ancient Roman moon goddess.
